The Two-Hour Turkey

This isn’t it. This is a baby in a turkey outfit she will wear once in her life — this Thanksgiving. Next year, she’ll be too big and have to hand it down to some other lucky tot.

Apparently, the 2-hour turkey is all the rage this holiday. 400 degrees. 2 hours. No turning. Brining before, of course. Everyone is brining these days. My friend Ben was ahead of the curve on brining. He told me about it years and years ago and swore by it. I just wish he were still around to ask about the 2 hour thing…

Here’s a pretty picture of the table. Stand by for an attempt at vegan cheesecake very soon.

    Great and wonderful photos. The baby picture is very, very cute Grandma…can’t say that enough, can I? The grandma part. The last picture is gorgeous, so indicative of the season.
